Novak Djokovic disqualified from US Open after hitting line judge with ball Novak Djokovic is out of the US Open after being disqualified during his match againt Pablo Carreno Busta. Djokovic accidentally hit a line judge in the neck when he hit the ball back off his racket. He had just lost a point in the opening set. Players who hit another person on the court automatically are disqualified from the competition. He realized it immediately and approached the person. Carreno Busta advanced to the quarterfinals.
