Tennis Previews & Predictions - Indian Wells R16
I have been blogging about tennis since 2007 and one thing I love to do, specially when big matches are about to begin, is to check out the players head to head series and look for ATP tennis match previews.
For me it is very interesting to see how the battle between top players and their rivalry evolved during the years.
Indian Wells R16 is about to happend with matches like Novak Djokovic vs John Isner, Andy Murray vs Adrian Mannarino, Roger Federer vs Jack Sock and Rafael Nadal vs Gilles Simon.
Just a little bit of info from these great battles:
Djokovic vs Isner:
Nole leads their head to head series 5-2.

Djokovic is the defending champion and so far he beat Baghdatis (6-1, 6-3) and Ramos-ViƱolas (7-5, 6-3).
Isner reached the 4R with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Jurgen Melzer and a 7-6(6), 6-2 defeat of Kevin Anderson. The American No. 1 has hit 31 aces and has yet to face a single BP.
Murray vs Mannarino:
This match will be their first ATP World Tour meeting.
The Scott overcame a second-set blip to defeat Kohlschreiber 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 in the 3R and made it past Pospisil 6-1, 6-3 in his opening match.
Mannarino, who is contesting the 4R at an ATP Masters 1000 event for the first time, beat qualifier Mischa Zverev 6-4, 6-4, No. 19 seed Fognini 7-6(8), 6-3 and No. 14 seed Gulbis 6-4, 6-4.
Federer vs Sock:
This match will be their first ATP World Tour meeting.
Sock started this event with a 6-7(4), 6-2, 7-5 victory over Lu and then followed with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(7) defeat of No. 33 seed Muller. He also upset No. 15 seed Bautista Agut 3-6 6-3 6-2. This is the first time he advances to the 4R of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
Federer avenged his Australian Open defeat to Seppi in the 3R, seeing off the Italian 6-3, 6-4. The Swiss opened his campaign with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Schwartzman.
Simon vs Nadal:

Simon started his campaign with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Malek Jaziri before overcoming qualifier Michael Berrer 6-2, 7-5 while Rafa breezed through to the 4R with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Young. In his opening match, the Spaniard swept past Sijsling 6-4, 6-2.
