Juan Martin Del Potro today denied having tax liabilities with the province of Buenos Aires for about $40,000 pesos and said the debt was not only canceled but has a credit balance of $55,000.

Through his own Twitter account, he explained that the news in some media site, in which persons close to him explained his tax situation, were not true.

According to the Revenue Agency of the Province (Arba), Del Potro had been late in submitting his declaration of gross income, so he had a debt of nearly $40,000 pesos, however, Del Potro claims he canceled the debt and have a credit balance.

"I do not owe anybody anything, they own me. I´m tired of lies and inventions" he wrote on Twitter.

After that comment, Del Potro talked about how well he is recovering from the wrist injury and his hopes to return soon to the ATP.

"Talking about important things, I'm fine, God willing, next week I start (hitting) little by little"
